    I received several questions through different channels such as email, SNS, etc regarding several brake pad and disc on the market and instead of writing answers to each owners, I decided to use my blog to share the common part of my answer.

    As I don’t know the detail of your chassis setup and your driving style, I normally don’t post on these topics but wanted to share some of the data acquired through data logger equipped NSX driven by 10s

    Although some of the brake calliper parts looked to be replaced in the past, the fluid was not replaced regularly and also some of the services were not done properly that the rust managed to penetrate through several areas.
    This smaller piston looked to be replaced in the past so I'll re-use it.

    Bigg Red has done great job on the calliper and bracket body

  4. Brake OH 01

    I thought it's going to be an easy life this week since I won't be working on another NSX until next week.
    Then, something came to my mind and suddenly I found myself placing the order for the front brake disc/pad and started disassembling the calipers....
    My boss was not impressed at all as it's her birthday very soon and we were supposed to be doing some shopping.....


    Moving on.....


    Ideally, I wanted to send the caliper and bracket to Bigg ...
