    It is very unlikely that the engine will be out of the engine bay again
    for another 10 years so gave a good cleaning inside there.




    Much easier to replace the fuel filter while the engine is out.

    This NSX is equipped with the aftermarket test pipe but the
    fixing bolts and nuts were too loose.


    It allowed some exhaust gas to escape and left some marking on the gasket.
    Hope I can re-use this one and tighten the bolt and nut at proper torque.

    As reported earlier, there was no gasket used at the
    connection points between the test pipe and back box
    resulting in exhaust gas leakage.

    Also, there was trace of carbon at the donut gasket at
    the swivel joint of the header suggesting that it was leaking
    from both the front and rear joints although
    I couldn’t feel it at the idle rpm.

    Although this needs to be replaced again when the owner
    puts back the CAT, new OEM gasket at the front exh pipe.

    Forgot to order another one for the rear but as it's going to be
    short life before putting back the CAT, just squashed the existing one
