My NSX is an everyday car and I drive it throughout the year
    including the winter season.

When I moved to this country, first thing I noticed was the level of
heavy corrosion on almost all NSX based in UK even with the ones
not driven in the wet conditions or stored away for several months
    during the winter period.

It looked similar to the corrosion level on the NSX kept close to the
    coastal area of Japan even

  2. Tyre - Michelin Energy Saver +

As reported earlier, I had puncture on MX5 recently and
instead of repairing the worn one, decided to replace all four tyres.

I used to love Toyo Proxus T1-R on MX5 but it was getting harder to
find it with short notice so decided to try something else.
It’s mainly used by my boss with very limited annual mileage

  3. Main Relay

by , 25-03-2014 at 11:15 PM (Today at Atelier Kaz - Private NSX Enthusiast, ex-Honda R&D engineer with F1, Indy/CART background)

Another owner sent in his old Main Relay for re-soldering.

He bought new one from me several years ago and just wanted to
    have backup for emergency usage.
The mechanical relays inside the old one were from WK23-26 of 1991 so
they were the old spec with mechanical spring.
The later spec has metal plate spring instead.

The owner wanted me to take a look at the cabin noise.
One of the cause was the rattling boxes and wires behind the
centre console around the heater unit.

Normally, I’m quite happy to disconnect any connectors and
re-rote the cables but as these could be for the security devices,
it is too risky for me to just start disconnecting any of the connectors
without knowing the system architecture or wiring diagram.

  5. A/C CCU Board service

by , 23-03-2014 at 05:30 PM (Today at Atelier Kaz - Private NSX Enthusiast, ex-Honda R&D engineer with F1, Indy/CART background)

Although the owner was not feeling any issues on his A/C system,
he decided to carry out the preventative measures on the CCU.
Very good decision by acting now instead of waiting for something to fail
as it will save the time and cost for the owner.
