    Engine already fired up so doing bit of catch up updating the blog.








    Three coolant hoses at the bottom centre floor replaced. One of them (the crank shaped one) was really soft and about to burst.

    Before installing the new coolant hoses, replaced the CL Master cyl.
    Looked as if the CL Hyd line was replaced in the past due to different colour although the shape was so close to the OEM one that it's more likely to be OEM

    Just before Christmas, several parts arrived at my place.




    NA1 Type-R Intake manifold plate


    The owner was kind enough allowing me to open the box and take the photo.
    As a precaution, I wore gloves to prevent scratch markings or finger prints.

    Typical failure mode of the OEM radiator. The crimped section got weaker and started to separate resulting in coolant leaking from the middle section.

    New spring loaded bolts and nuts at both CATs.

    At the front CAT, I didn't like the idea of compressing the spring too far but in order to reach the specified torque, there was no option so may need to replace the swivel gasket.
