Hi guys, my daily is due a service in the near future. Its a Bimmer, 5 years old with low mileage of 23K.
Its had one service due to mileage. Is worth me going to an independant with a good reputation as
I've heard the main dealers in Manchester have mixed reviews. Price differences are about £63 inspection I &
£111 inspection II. Is it better to have FBMWSH come resale? Apologies if its been covered before.

IMHO a good independent is better than a d(st)ealer ... lots of German specialists about now.
as long as you get full detail of works carried out and receipts etc I think this is better than official stamps
me i would go for the independent everytime, also these guys tend to look at bits that sometimes are NOT covered in the service manual and a dealer will always use this

My NSX is serviced by independent's and my Evo 8 was NEVER taken to the Ralliart dealer as I had a Rally specialist look after it ... the only time it graced an official dealer was to sort a warranty claim on the wiper arms corroding ... ohh and on inspection when i got home, had paint damage on my bumper just for my troubles!
