Any advice/views on a sensible budget for a good late NA2?

£40k+, I'd say. Although I'm not in the trade and don't own one.

A 'well used' 2002/03 facelift will probably still fall below that (and if you'll consider a pre-facelift then a £30k budget might be enough to get a good one*), but I would wager an 04/05 car with fair mileage and good history will easily begin with a 4. You'll also be competing with buyers from HK and Singapore, given the recent exchange rates.

* Caveat: I'm basing this on prices I saw last year, and in reality ~6-12 months ago, plus an allowance for all the recent good press. In reality it all depends upon the individual owner and how much they want/need to sell - the cars are rare enough in the UK that the market can't be 'predicted' in the same way you can with an equivalent F-car.

The other bit to add is I've not seen one up for sale for sometime now, maybe summer last year.

Rob's NIOP 03 Targa was on for £42.5k in October... he did get offers but chose not to take them up :)

Maybe I am deluded, but I would expect Y1 to fetch ~£35k in the current market.

I would be surprised if someone could take it from you for less ... Just how many OEM 2001's are there?

Hi Shawn and welcome,

Can I just check, when you say late NA2, you are looking for an 02+ model? If you are then there's poss two coming to Market ... Rob's Imola Targa and there's coupe that could be available ... Both are likely to be mid 40's

Regards, Paul
