I'm not that far south of B'ham...think I'm on my own in the Midlands.

...but I'm still a good few hrs from L'pool...

Yes but on the other side of the Pennines. However we do come over that side to drive around North Wales on a few occasions.

I'm in Cheshire...Dragonlady goes to Llangollen around the Horseshoe Pass nice run out. Could be a good place to go too. Meet outside Whitchurch Shropshire.
