View Full Version : Andrew Walsh Driver Training....

Just renewed my car insurance with CCI and as I was trying to chip away a bit more off the £395 renewal, the lady mentioned that I could get an extra 10% discount if I'd attended a certified driver training program like the Andrew Walsh one.

I think we've talked on here about these courses before...anyone fancy actually doing it?

Any feedback from those who may have experienced one of these before?

I asked cci what driver training do they count as 'approved' driver training. I'd be up for it if someone nearby could pit me up for the night as I live just past Exeter!

The driver training I did elsewhere last year was well worth it.

I can get the 4th of October holiday at the moment, any good?

If we have 5 definites, we could maybe ask if that's possible.

Mmm, Tuesdays are the only days I can't really do (college) any other day I can book off work.

I would also interested but I always need at least 6 weeks notice....except weekends.

I'd be up for this as well....date dependent of course with my shifts if location means a bit of a treck....

Looks like 1 slot for the 4th has been taken already, seems popular.

I was guessing that we would go for one of the '4 people' slots but if there is more interest, what's the thoughts on a day with 25 people, i.e. sharing with others?

I be game but for week days as posted earlier..I'll need 6 weeks notice.
I don't mind sharing..even with 25 people as long it is fun and will count towards the 10% discount on renewal.

Any other opinions?

Is there any indication that the 4 vs 25 differs in levels of training?

If it's 4 of us then I'd take the NSX ... more and I'd take the daily ...

It sounds like 4 people get a more tailored tuition and obviously more time with the trainer.

I would be interested in this too subject to the date chosen.
