registration 7 NSX for auction

Just spotted the plate "7 NSX" up for auction with a reserve price of £600 at http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/auction/newcatalogue/

I do like short plates, but what is the relevance of 7? For me, two digits would be better, so it would represent my DOB or some other significant event (year of the car perhaps). Unless your lucky number is 7 or something, i'd question the sanity of spending big money on it. Of course, NSX 1 or 1 NSX is another story, that would be cool! I wonder if NSX 2 has been issued; would make a good plate for an NSX-R.
