Just wondering what differences there are between JDM and UK cars. Honda always seem to make minor (and major!) changes between JDM and UK cars with their other models...

Yes there are some differences. From memory;

The 2nd gear is shorter, acceleration to 60 should be quicker.
They may or may not have the headlight washers and height adjustment.
They have darker tailights.
Fog light specification may be different or non existent.

Japan also get options not aviailable to UK cars, depending on the year. Colour options were different, interior colours, also they have a SatNav option.

Are there any/many imported NSXs in the UK?

Very few - Over the years there has been little/no cost saving to importing the JDM version. The Japanese appear to hold the NSX in high regard and has, unusually, kept their 2nd hand values to a similar level as over here or at least once the cost of importing it is taken into account.

I have come across a lot less JDM's over here than the UK model, last social meet there were 9 NSXs none of which were JDM although 1 was a LHD continental import. Because of the specialist nature of the NSX the usual differential of lower mileage, better condition, better spec and of course lower price have not applied in the same way as to (IMHO) lesser Japanese performance cars.

Are you interested in purchasing a JDM or importing one by chance?
