Back again! 2 x O2 sensors now replaced and no more warning lights. Many thanks to all for your help and encouragement, particularly James and Kaz.
ipod connectivity now achieved (does anyone still have cassettes?), new Black Diamond slotted and grooved discs and pads fitted, engine oil and filter, clutch fluid and gearbox oil changed.
Love the car, love the vtec howl but not sure how long my license will last. The only gripe I have is the clattery start-up noise from cold which disappears after a few minutes accompanied by a lumpy tick-over......I've been checking the forums and apparently this is normal (not sure why.....90 degree V6?).
I'd like to clean the engine and compartment area but am uneasy about spraying water everywhere after an overnight degrease. I've never seen so many electrical connectors.....I've had a look at Sudesh's refresh and Kaz's health check posts but are there any parts/connectors in particular that require covering before hosing down?
