Slight knocking sound in 3rd

Hi All

After taking the NSX out for a weekend away it seems to have developed a slight knocking sound from what I think is the near side rear. It's fairly consistent, and seems to only happen in 3rd gear when I'm slowly accelerating up at around 30-35 mph. It's always just a single quiet 'knock', and doesn't seem to be accompanied by any noticeable vibration.

Has anyone got any ideas what it could be?

Does the intensity of the knock depend on engine load? Can you hear it with the engine bay open only reving the engine?

Well after 3 weeks I haven't been able to reproduce the noise, so I'm hoping whatever it was has gone away.

Sounds like Honda bush-itis.

It seems especially in cold, dry conditions, the bushes shrivel & clunk.

Norton Way couldn't find which one of the 'Ludes was doing it either. I'd given up.

But it seems to have got better too.
