Morning all...

Could i have some pics of the front compartment showing the battery with the spare wheel removed if anyone has any?

Need them of the oem battery / battery box.

My car is a NA1 if there is a difference in battery location please secify.

Also could someone confirm what side the positive and negative are on the battery?

Think the way to read it is with the terminals to the front. I think the terminals are to the front when looking in the front compartment please also confirm this.

Also what type are the battery terminals? are they the pointy up dome ones? or the pointy up flat ones?

I don't have access to my car until the weekend and would appreciate this answering.

Thanks!

Look at Sudesh's 'Refresh' thread for pics, I think there are some inthe first few pages.
I believe all batteries are the same for all years.
+ve is on the right as you look into the compartment from the front of the car.
The battery has round posts (pointy up dome ones :)).

That battery retaining bracket needs either wrapping with duck tape or needs re-plasticising - not really sure that exposed metal that close to the positive terminal is a good idea - any serious front-end impact and that'll short out in style!

I think that the photo was taken from Sudesh's refresh thread where he was highlighting just that fact and replaces it for a new one.
