Their description as a 3.0l is obviously wrong - what a c@ck-up, sorry - mistake !!

Car almost matches the barn window frames in pics 1 & 2 !! ;)

Lovely looking interior. Shame about the sticker on the rear bumper....

I removed the OEM horns on my car and replaced them with this type which is a much nice deeper modern note and can be hidden in the front bay much easier.

No idea on allot of UK Honda dealers, possible they changed name of someone is going by a street name.

But must be a dealer as I spotted this on the net

Hi Sudesh,

Could you let me have details of that please - I've two Hondas which desperately need decent horns!

Cheers,

Martin.

I live in Crawley, there's only ever been Gatwick Honda. Seems a strange mistake to make.

Hi Martin,

Any good motor store/halfords etc should have these types of horns. The NSX has 2 oem horns at the front of the car tucked up behind the bumper, they can be seen if you look in the front centre centre vent [where the number plate is]

They are also available on ebay.

After a quick scan I found the link below which is not unlike the OEM shape and from reading the add, it give the deeper trumpet like sound. Think I might buy these myself for a test as they are very neat.

The dealer (Targa Florio Cars) has some very nice stock and some of it in other interesting colours. I love the Liquid Yellow R26R but my Alfa 8C Competitzione would have to be in something other than "Racing Yellow" :)

Cheers

Horn mods and go fast stickers need to be declared for insurance.

Up until a couple of years ago Southern Counties Honda (aka Southern Cowboys!) were based near the railway station.

(And you don't live in Crawley - behave!!!! ;) )

Interesting to see that IOP style colours are enjoying a real resurgence at the high end of the market - Mark recently posted pics of the R8 and others in spangly orange paint, and this week's Autocar has the new Bentley Continental GT looking fairly brash in metallic orange.

Careful, as of last week I am officially riff raff now!! Lol. Although hopefully only a temporary measure.

The car is being kept in a heated garage a few miles outside though so does that exclude me as riff raff?

Is the Honda dealer next to B&Q not Crawley Honda?

Lol, wondered whether you'd moved yet. :)

Yes, Gatwick Honda is next to B&Q on the London Road. Alan the parts guy is very helpful but the workshop has not had good press over the years.

I wonder if we could fit one of these bay boys to the NSX...?

Justin, I need to buy a garage to park one in first. lol. Street parking an NSX won't work for me.

Yeah, it's an easy car to develop "dent paranoia" with

It's not that. I just don't want to spend my time washing it every week with all the leaves, tree sap, grime and the occasional bird poop that comes from the great heavens.

It's a car that deserves to be spotless and clean (moreso than others). :-)

I've seen a yellow one that was regularly parked in Putney with a few dents - I bought a house with garage before buying NSX.

I've even got dent paranoia in my own garage! Have just installed some foam-backed vinyl on the walls... Too much?? ;)

Not really.

Actually, the annealed ally of the later cars is pretty hard. Despite using a MF towel between them, that cobbler's hammer on the rear edge of the door has put a tiny ding in the paper-thin steel wing of the S2000. Just a tad annoying.

Might have to use kevlar in future...

Surprised it hasn't sold yet.

Ceteris paribus, I'd have ripped his arm off at the ankle.

I think it might actually be original, but I doubt it.

I'd prefer NIOP personally, but it's still an unusual and striking colour.

Does anyone actually know for sure if this car is an 01. If the W plate is original it would be 2000. It may well be an earlier private plate but it isn't that special and leaving it on would only really de-value the car as in that territory the last pop-up in the country would be a better bet for a collector.

If this was NIOP I too would have been tempted but I don't think the NSX ever got the later colour. my only regret parting my S2k for Y1 was losing that colour.

Isn't Mark's car NIOP?

And, for what it's worth, I'm very quickly falling for the IOP that I was initially very skeptical about....

Oh come on Justin, its because I mentioned that its possibly the ONLY IOP in Ireland and the only 3.2 pop up that I can think off lol
