I saw this the other day as well, was a bit shocked at the price, however 35% depreciation over two and a half years seems plausable.

Have you checked the price with glass's / parker's at least ??

I saw this and thought that the website was very good, and the price maybe a little too good. I then remembered the old saying...

When something looks to good to be true it usually is :(

Like jaytip, I would be interested if anyone has any history on this NSX :?:

Not good :(

Did some checks though on prices and that apparently is book price, then again they either sell for whatever someone wants, or less than book

Bloody hell... guess I'm in for a shock when I come to sell. Oh well, I never buy cars as an investment, good job really.

Oh well at leats I have a stupidly low (well I thought so at the time) GFV on my PCP!

I can't believe the silver one....

Simon,

Sorry - sounds like I almost know what I'm talking about, PCP = Personal Contract Plan, 'poor' persons way of affording the NSX - well sort of...basically the only way! Not that good really.

GFV Guaranteed Future Value - the 'balloon' payment basically, the other half of the finance agreement I have to either find in 3 years to own the car, re-finance or the amount left to settle if part exing against something else, probably a Civic again the way the NSX prices are going  !

Someone else might have a better way of utting this but that is the way I undestarnd it!

Cheers,

Matt.

Hi,

Wish I didn't have to either - working hard to try and avoid finance in the future too! Still can't have everything at 25 without some seriously hard work or some family money I guess.

Dont get too hung up on the £'s enjoy, life's sometimes too short (well that's my motto :D )

Nick,

Thanks for the advice. I'm not a 'money' person I suppose, but I do want to have fun, and that tends to involve £'s....or so I've found!

Work hard, play hard and all that is mine I guess (and find pleny of time to post here!)!

Cheers,

Matt.

Where did you get the PCP plan from? Just wondering because if I don't win the NSX from 5th Gear I might have to go the PCP route to afford one.

Hi Richard,

Well although my car is a 2000, because it had only done 13,000 miles the Honda dealer managed to get me one through FIAT actually, they were part of a chain with FIAT and other manufacturers so had access to their finance. Honda themselves have been offering me PCP's though on newer '02 models for ages though, I have to say the FIAT one was very good though (if any finance is good!).

If you want more details please feel free to PM me and I'll give you the full scoop.

Cheers,

Matt.

No front spoiler. That's a good sign to start with.

£33,850 for a 2001 Y reg 3.2 ??

33,562 miles, CIRCUIT BLUE

High mileage though (relative) but seems like the 5th gear program did us no favours :(
