My headlamp alignment needs adjusting and my local MoT garage are going to do it.
Before they do, I just wanted to understand how to do it so I can tell them if necessary. Looking at the service manual, it shows the picture below.
It looks like the alignment is done from the inner side but what is the scredriver on the left being used for where it says to use protective tape on the wing.
Anyone know?

one adjuster changes the left/right alignment, the other does the up/down..... (says 'headlamp vertical adjusting point' on the drawing....)

Hi, mart155.

Quite often, these adjusters get very rusty and seized so please be careful if you feel any heavy movement.

This is the adjuster itself. As you can imagine, you need to put long and thin shaft but large head size philips/posi screw driver.
If it is seized, it is best to remove the headlight plastic cover and use big flat blade to rotate the adjuster instead.

I normally just replace both of them when I start seeing the headlight unit rattling under the vibration

Enjoy....
