Hi SS

I had the pleasure of being taken out for a quick spin with by one Petter Solberg at the Prodrive proving ground, and it was the dogs do dads!
He was so fast but in total control, we did even where crash helmets

So I would recommend it.

With regards to the other half do you mean for them to take part with you or just to go along as company?

I did a Rally driving event in the Welsh forests last winter. Great experience, never spent so much time looking out the side windows trying to go forwards!!

The event ended with a demo drive from the instructors who have worked with Burns and Macrae amongst others ... awesome car control and the reason why I always maintain that WRC drivers are the best in the world!

If you get the chance, take it!

regards, Paul

Becs has passengered with me in the BaT Caterhams when she's been able to join me. And I've slalomed a Mk2 Esky at Bill Gwynne's, solely on the throttle, which was great fun!

But alas I can't claim any famous passengerage - closest is an amateur-racer 'friend of a friend' giving me a balls-out demonstration of how to drive the Nordschleife properly in a 993 C2! Although I usually talk far too much, I just shut up and let him drive...
