How much does the speedo usually over read by? about eight-ish MPH?

the "faster" car in the front was exactly the same NA1.

i´ve tested the speedo with my tyresize and i says exactly (about maybe 1kmh) the same as the GPS-navigstion-system. 270 are 270

and my NSX goes 283kmh

Damn fast, is she stock?
My PB above was when she was standard(also ran out of clear road), I haven't "tried her out" since the headers went on yet. I figure I should be able to get to 357mph with a following wind.

Ah maybe we could get them together and make some money. Whats the gestation period for an NSX?

I think the NA2 must have wildly differently calibrated speedos to the NA1, as the two of us NA2 drivers were getting nearly 180mph indicated at Vmax - this equated to 164/165 through the beams.

hit 160 on the autobahn recently myself, chickened out as the wife was with me and she made a comment about the tyre blowing out  ... err that was it i'm afraid DOH!

the car had more to give, but the owners heart was not in it anymore

I hit an indicated 149mph on the autobahn before chickening out. In my defence the crosswind was strong, and the car stuffed with camping gear - my imagination got the better of me.

Car felt much happier at speed in our convoy to Gaydon last year ;-)
