Anyone up for a mini meet in the next month or two in the Essex/Suffolk area. Naturally the invite extends to everyone further afield who wishes to join us.

Any suggestions to a date and a venue would be gratefully recieved so we can get the best turnout possible.:)

For an early morning (6.30am)excitement run as Paul suggested with the now proven Essex-suffolk course from Stansted.
For just a shandy..coffee/pub lunch and admire each others metal..I'll suggest Toby carvery at Stanway (Marks Tey), Colchester on a Sunday.

SS, can you contact Trackdemon to see if he's coming out to play ... he likes a BH run, nice and early.

I've just had confirmation I can come out to play on either day, so best put some bits back on the car .....

Good hoon and great to meet the guys!
Sorry my in-built coordination is so poor but will keep practicing on map reading....can't rely on Sat-Nav.

NB. I'll pick up the rear diffuser later this evening on the way back from Bluewater. ;)

Yep,

Great run at good pace, great to meet up again, and thanx to Mr Garmin who is clearly better than SS at navigating the run :)

Hope the diffusor is still waiting for pick up ..... wonder what thats worth second hand .... ;)

No piccies but must get one of Ed's in car video thingies for the next one!

Paul

I have now retrieved the 'package'........at a slower pace, I now know what went wrong regarding the route which confused me. When we turned out of the pub The Crown, where the 'package ' was hidden, we turned right out instead of left.....the Thaxted sign was pointing the wrong direction as we had not passed through and skipped it all together....;):)

videoing runs like that could be bad for the health of the wee green paper we all hold so dearly.......as for package.....not sure it has a place on a road car.......you could run one if the ride height of the car was increased....but then the whole idea of "ground" effect is negated by the higher ride height......still sum you win and some fall off in a pub car park....lol

ahhh rich if you spent more time going "forward" rather than side-ways you will find it easier to keep up:-)

Maybe I should test this theory for you as I'm running stock ride height ;)

Hmmm..... you might be right there Russell I'll try and bear that in mind. Obviously Mr. Senna preferred a more lively car !!

Looking good gentlemen but tell me, why do NSX's come in different sizes? :) The "widescreen" photo makes the car on the left look much longer than the others.

Cheers

I was going to say that the two in the middle were the only two SWB versions of the NSX ever made :D

What kept throwing me throughout the drive was looking back when Russell was following, and thinking I'd got Detlef behind me!!!! OEM white R wheels do look good on a modded Red/Black NSX IMO.
