I have seen this on a web site before, I'm sure it's on Prime.

Prime is down, but it looks a bit complicated.

Cheers for the links.

....prime ok from here right now?

Not sure how much of that install is really necessary?

Yeah, I had it done with my multimedia install.
That little £5 button is my favourite part of the whole £2000 install ! :)

....do you have any install details?

I thought it would be a lot easier than what the above link makes out.

Surely the switch just bridges two connections and you take your finger off when the engine starts?

I think it's a bit of a 'chav' modification but i know Richbrook have a push button kit which must be easier if spotty little yobs can affix them to their Vauxhall Novas. Try your local Halfords/Ripspeed.

I've seen a few kits with OEM Honda button and relay, but it looks complicated. I do not think is chav if done properly like in glenlewis picture.

Thanks for the compliment, I am feeling all guilty now for fitting a subwoofer and DVD too ...

I know the feeling.

I feel guilty because for what I spend on my Amazon's multimedia system I could have bought so many parts for the NSX. I am glad I came to my senses and sold the amp and subs to a lad that works for me and that paid for my Tubi.

I only hope hope that I will not be seen as a chave by my fellow NSX drivers when I put on the NSX-R CF wing.

Hi,

I'm not sure that an S2000 button is 'chavlike' at all if it is done tasetully like Glen's.

Just my opinion but I don't think anyone who has an NSX in that beautiful yellow with a decent install can be accused of being a 'chav'!

I always liked hitting the red button in my Dad's S2K - feels nice and different!

Matt.

I brought the S2000 button to install with the S2000 power socket, as i took the whole console out to accommodate my new head unit. I've of course kept all the oem parts so it can revert in the future, but I like the new toys :D

I sourced the button from ebay, and this came with a wiring layout, with optons to by pass the key start, or keep the option of starting with the key. I think I kept the info, I'll have a look. Photo below.......... just dont "chav" me......ok go on I dont care anyway

Nick,

Have you managed to find the install details for the starter button? Did you install yourself or was this done by the audio guys?

One word of advise:

When installing a start button make sure you don't disable the "key start" option. Just think about it, if the wiring from the button goes kaput, how do you start the car if key start is disabled?
