Had some interest via PM after a mention on another thread.
Chatted to Ross at STMPO in the States, he said he could supply us with the brake ducts for $70 shipped if we get 5 in the group buy.

Anyone else interested?

Will leave this open till Friday 30th July in case more people want to join in. Order will then be placed, shipped to me and I'll send on in the post or distribute via meets etc.
I'll pay up front for them and collect money before passing them on.
We shouldn't get stung for duty and vat but obviously be aware that could happen.

Everybody happy with that?

Any more takers? The exchange rate has crept in our favour over the last few days, hoping to get these to us for <£50 a set.

BTW Kare I sent you an e-mail. :)

Ducts are a piece of cake I might do a write up but it is really easy once you see where they go.

i wonder, that noone else has the same problem: if i turn the wheels to one side as far as it goes and the wheel get up or down by wheight it makes a zong sound. today i found out, that the brakeduckts rub on the brake hose and calibers. cuted them right now.

Gents,

I would STRONGLY recommend you check full lock fitment of these both in the air AND with the car on the ground. These are essentially the same as the Detlef/Dali units sold over the years. Mine have been installed for several years. They required several introductions to Mr Dremmel.

2 weeks ago I installed the OEM 17's but this time with the Yoko tyres and have had to adjust the nearside as the tyre rubbed when on full right lock.

SS, WD40 or similar to the OEM nuts and then release. Clean suspension whilst tiny OEM unit removed and reverse operation to install new large units.

regards, Paul

i mounted them like on this pics. and on the upper left side they scratch the calibers and on the leftuperside they squetch the hose :(. now i cutted that parts of (about 20mm from the curve near the middle)
on the other side they scratch on the wheel and tyre. they are not the same anymore. worst parts ever.

Wow ... looks like you got carried away with the Dremel there Heinz .... should only require 'small' adjustments. When I posted above I wasn't suggest you reduce the new ones to the OEM size

Here are mine installed ...

it looks like we dont have the same. as i wrote, i checked it several times by turning the wheels to the right and left and only cutted of whats in the way.
