the DOGZ BOLLOX for sure!

was never too keen on the black on white wheel combo, but this looks pretty darn well

defo mate, think a wee plaque for your 'refresh' work is a nice touch for us owners of the cars we bring to you

again if you want to use mine as the test vehicle by all means go ahead

stop sending over photos of these gorgeous NSX-R's, knowing full well we can't buy them here... and you're tempting us to try and make ours look an R model

Sudesh,

Where is this NSX for sale? I think that I have seen the blue NSX in the background of picture number two somewhere before - does it have an extensive body-kit and massive high level spoiler?

Always enjoy seeing your photos of NSX's - keep them coming !!

Sorry to be a pedant, but isn't that the 'deeper' front spoiler rim, as opposed to the original NSX-R (and for that matter original NA1 NSX) item...?

Yes it is, not only is it better looking but; if for what ever reason you wanted to order a new lower lip today, you will be supplied with that one, as the thinner type is not available any more.

Any ideas on how much Honda charges for a refresh? Is it still available in japan or is the car too old now to be offered refresh?

Still available. Only in Japanese but please refer to the following for the menu.

http://www.honda.co.jp/NSX/refresh-plan/menu/index.html

It used to be 1 year waiting time but now it is 5 months only!!

The basic refresh will cost about GBP3,000 but normally, the owner will spend about GBP5,000 for the refresh as it's worth every penny.

It is very popular for the new owners who bought the NSX as an used car. In fact, most of the new owners put part of their budget aside to go through the refresh when they planned to buy used NSX.

If you have a chance to visit the factory to watch the actual refresh process, you will be amazed. Depending on the menu, the car will be disassembled completely and then re-built using many new parts.

One of the owner completed 250,000 miles and took the refresh menu mainly for interior refresh. Although it's in Japanese, I hope you can get some idea from the photos. There are 3 pages in total.

Right then, shall we start a group refresh buy? The more cars we get the cheapper the shipping costs would be.

Think of all the R bits you could have fitted:drool:

I'm in as long as we accidentally forget to tell the Mrs.

Would probably be allot cheaper to create the plan here and import the parts to the specific stages customers want. Maybe Myself and Kaz could get together and setup a Refresh Studio in the UK and do this!!

Great idea Sudesh - You and Kaz would make a killing !!

Incidentally, you can get an approximate translation just by opening these web pages in Google Chrome - it automatically detects the foreign language and asks if you would like the text translated. I'm not a pusher for one browser or another, but I do like this feature.

For some of the older cars a refresh program would be fantastic and undoubtedly be worth every penny... I guess the older and more miles you've done the better value for money it is if it's a fixed price.

I didn't realise they did a different key for the NSX-R:
http://www.honda.co.jp/auto-lineup/nsx/2005/equipment/r-nsxkey/?from=rcount

Just makes you wonder how many subtle differences there are that we don't know about; does anyone know of a full list?

I think that key will be for the facelift NSX-R with security.

The UK refresh would be great, but I'm guessing your not serious
Really nice to see the NSX still very much loved back at the factory, which is vital to keep these cars alive and well. (discontinuing parts is such a pain on most cars)
