NSX 2000

The weather seems to be OK for Easter Sunday so a few of us are going to have a Sunday morning meet near Jcn 4 of M25.

We will meet for 7:45am and leave at 8am for an hour drive and then meet back up again at 9am for coffe and breakfast if any body is hungry.

Please see link for meeting place details

http://www.7hoteldiner.co.uk/

This is only a 2 minute drive from Jcn 4 of the M25 and just down the road from where we have meet before.

So if you don't fancy a drive, but just a coffe meet us at 9am.

Bring the Civic

I asked the same earlier in the week!

It's a very civil start time .... I was thinking of earlier so this is good news ... just hope its still clear when we get away.

See you there

regards, Paul

It should be quite as Nothing should be open on Easter Sunday, so it's not like we'll bump into people off to the shops.

Civic driven by Sutcliffe in this week's Autocar. Said it would beat many supercars cross country. I would agree with this, the only limiting factor that I found was the ability of the passenger to hold their lunch down.

Yep, Sutter's gave it a good write up.

Gents,

I've just packed Avalyn off to bed as she is not feeling well at present. I would therefore suggest a very slim chance of me coming out to play in the morning.

Assuming that I dont see you, have a great and safe drive

regards, Paul

Hi everyone, I hope the weather means its a great meet for you all.

Is this Civic the new Mugen one with the silly price tag?

Weather was a bit damp but still a nice drive, we then had breakfast and watched the Grand Prix (at the place in the link in the first post) very nice, I can highly recommend it.

You thought Lewis's tactics were dirty too? ;)

Just my opinion, but it would only be silly if you a) couldn't afford it and b) didn't drive it, neither of which I believe to be a problem. I also think this to be an insensitive and pointless comment.

I would suggest that this Civic its likely to do more miles this year than your NSX has done in the last 5!

If you've nothing constructive to say, why say anything at all ... or are you still chasing post numbers

FWIW I can see the appeal of a limited production number Civic, but is it overpriced?

Only when compared to cars in the same price bracket.

Paul, sorry if my comment offended you. All I am saying is that at nealy £40K thats alot of money for a limited edition Civic, abeit a special one. May be I should have used a different word like overpriced? I am not being critical of the car, in fact I like Civics alot and have thought about buying a black mark 1 CTR in the past, its just my opinion said on spur of the moment.

What would you say is an alternative?

What would you say is an alternative?

Anything costing £37k ;)

If you include secondhand, the world's your oyster. Depends what you want to use it for. My £37k might go on a Lotus Cortina with FIA papers for historic racing :)

Cheers

I was sceptical before I drove it.

This is going very off topic but as the event has been on gone what the ....

You need to make a list of what you want from the car, if I've read this right it needs to be new?

1, New 2,? 3,? and so on.

Why is it cheating is the money not the same?

If I was going to drive in a low volume car, with a honda engine that looks outside the norm other than an NSX this would be my pick.
