Nice :)

The black car looks much faster than the blue one... I thought the cars we're almost identical so the black one must have a better driver :)

Very nice. Shame there wasn't a silver one there, that would have been faster still!:)

If you had seen one of the prior runs you will understand why I was taking it easy!!

Did you have a "brown trouser" moment :)

Yes, at about 5mph (at least that is how fast the front wheels were going - backs slightly faster)

BROWN TROUSER MOMENT imagine how I felt driving along aside him

NUTTER springs to mind

moral to the story DON'T TURN YOUR TCS OFF IN DAMP CONDITIONS!

A deceptive camera angle but it doesn't look like a 164 run .... :dunno:

Did you try any TCS launches rather than Noels drift style ?

Looks like a bit of fun these vmax things. But too far too travel.

A shame as my gearing is perfect for the peak bhp and top speeds matching.

That video is of the start point and run down to the main runway/straight. You can go as fast or slow as you like on that bit. You then turn right on a big arc trying to carry as much speed as possible on the proper straight at the end of which the timing beams are setup.

I hadn't thought of turning TCS off but I believe you need to do that or it interrupts VMAX attempts.

When I hit the brakes in the video I'm doing over 100mph

Doesn't affect our cars. I turned it off because I am an imbecile and underestimated how slippery the surface was. Like the 9ff driver.
