Hi Amo

The Honda I agree with but not the BMW as at that price it will be old and leggy and could be costly to repair, Nissan is just boring:(

So I would put forward a VW passat estate or Skoda estate, plus any of the ford galaxy/vw sharon/seat almah people carrier, same car just with different badges.

Forget the Nissan!
You will love the BMW although this one is a salvage jobbie.
You will not be disappointed with the Accord from what I have heard.

Amo,

I can only comment on ownership for the Accord.

2.2d is a solid option and now a lot of car for the money IMO. Always go for the Exec with leather as the sport has the worst velour style seat centres known to man!!

Couple of things to look out for ... discs, will only survive 40-45k miles so check when last replaced. Alloys had poor finish and prone to lacquer peeling. Finally, and unusual for a Honda, rear light clusters can blow bulbs on regular basis.

Apart from these things, great car, more space than you think due to wide flat load bay and economy around the 40mpg+ mark

Hi Amo

Anything on the list except no.4! I've got a 97 reg 1.9 tdi A4 and get an easy 55 mpg out of it.

Cheers

Amo, it has to be the Honda Accord or VW Passat. HTH

I would be wary of running a modern turbodiesel without a warranty

Seconded. If a TDi makes sense due to mileage, get a good after-market one!
