Thanks Nigel. There has been quite a bit of elbow grease spent on the car which has paid off.

I thought you were going to detail it ;) ... looking really nice. Time to go put some miles on it ... they really do prefer it to sitting in the garage!

regards, Paul

Nice pics of the Supra too on your album, i like the car, but can't help thinking your are motoring in a totally different league with the NSX

Nice pics of the Supra too on your album, i like the car, but can't help thinking your are motoring in a totally different league with the NSX

I don't think that I would say different league as such but they are definately different beasts. Where the NSX is a refined, stunning car with a wonderful engine note, the supra is beautiful, with raw power and demands respect.

I love the NSX as it is so easy to drive, and overall a real drivers car, but I also love the Supra as well because you can't help but smile when in the car, especially the sound when turbos spool up. Both cars look beautiful and are so reliable.

With respect to the owners both sides are equally as passionate, each paying their cars alot of attention, and enjoy driving them.

Yes the supra has been sadly impacted by the number of low price imports coming into the country from Japan recently, which have been snapped up by what I can only class as non-enthusiasts. However the only reason that the NSX has not been impacted in this way is because of the rarity of the car, and the high prices. Believe me if these "non-enthusiasts" could get their hands on a NSX they would do so.

The true supra enthusiast does not rev their cars up, or drive like idiots but simply enjoy the car and all that it has to offer. After all how many other modern cars can you still say look beautiful and up-to-date, (and more important still running) after 17+ years. I am fortunate the moment to own 3 of them (NSX, Supra and Accord Coupe) :) - and yes you can call me greedy.

That is why it will be sad to let go of the supra, if I had my way I would keep both but unfortunately my brain does not appear to be wired up to cope with automatics.

Now imagine an SC NSX going full tilt with the SC whinnying inches away from your head. :)

Looks good - glad that one found a good home!

PS - not sure I thanked you for saving me from looking at the silver one in Preston or the yellow targa in Derbyshire!
