I had long-planned to go along to this one, and my good lady wife had suggested we make a day out of it and head to Arundel, the coast etc. Luckily, the weather was spot on for the Breakfast Club - and it saw the biggest turnout I think I've seen, maybe excepting the Supercar Sunday. There were cars (and planes!) parked the full length of the start-finish straight, the paddocks were absolutely rammed, and they were overflowing into the other little car parks by about 10am. People in suitable cars (anything roofless) were still streaming in at 10:30.

There was plenty of variety there - predictably, lots of S2000s, MX-5s etc, but plenty of classic Brits (Healeys, Sunbeams etc), and a few splendid machines - handful of Lambos, a bunch of Fezzas, only one NSX (!) and a Carerra-GT.

The NSX got plenty of attention - I ever overheard some guys (as I was walking along the pits) huddled with backs to a brand new AMV8 roadster, sayying "Did you see the NSX back there...?" The only disappointment for me was the lack of Honda S600/S800s - I'd have thought they'd have one or two there ...

Anyway, some pics.

R-R were there with a Drophead Coupe - absolutely huge, absolutely stunning.

And amongst the weird and wonderful, this BMW Isetta micro-car...

We arrived at 7:30 or so and were shown to a great spot on the left side of the grid as you drive in...
