Guys,

Had a question from the guy I bought my GT Extreme exhaust from, Im sure some of you know Ravi....UmbrellaAuto Design in the states...but he is an agent for Japanese import stuff.

He's asked me how he can become an official trader on the forum.....I said I would ask the question....

Cheers

I think you either have to charge offensive prices or not bother to deliver. One or the other is fine, but a combination of both is usually frowned apon.

Sorry, couldn't resist it.

Cheers,

James.

I've spoken to Ravi a few times and made various enquiries about some ideas. He has always responded promptly and with good pricing.

From some I have spoken to on Prime he has a great reputation and can handle bespoke projects.

If he joins here then a centre console GB could be a good first project.

If you want to see the quality of his work, check out the following threads for his interior work and bodyshop work

Hope he gets approved

I have pm ed Kevin but have not recieved a response yet.

I have been hesitant to post pics of any of my projects until I get an approval.

I am the largest volume dealer of Sorcery Aero outside of Japan, we also offer upholstery as well as custom fabrication services, and stock a huge selection of used oem and used aftermarket nsx parts as well.

Hope to hear something soon.

I certainly had a good experience when dealing with Ravi.....He did all the leg work in terms of sorting out delivery times, picking the right time to charge based on a good exchange rate and the GT Extreme Exhasut quality is amazing....fits perfectly and sounds amazing...

Simon.

Hi Simon, nice to make your aquaintance. We do offer Alcantara upholstery for the nsx.

I don't think I have received an official vendor approval yet so not sure about answering specific questions.

I am patiently waiting.

Thanks and nice to meet everyone.

Here are a few pics of my NSX as well : )

Ravi, can I ask what seat rails you used?

Hi, they started out as Taitec rails, then I cut and re welded to allow the seats to sit lower in the car.

Thanks

I just donated 20 GBP to your forum to become a platinum member : )

I also tried to pay for the vendor fee but it would not allow me to use the same credit card?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

get in touch with forumadmin, there might be some sort of block to stop random people trying to become traders. Just a guess though.

Car looks great:)

There are quite a few cars being proooduced in that colour at the moment and i always wondered what it would look like on an NSX. Unsure a standard one is modern enough to pull it off but yours is wild enough to make it look great:)

And IIRC this was a prestine low mileage CW coupe before the conversion.

Hi Ravi,

I think its the interior where there may be a fair amount of interest. As Ary says, the exchange rate isn't great at the moment but then some of the ideas will take time to work out.

I hope this proves to be a good growth area for your business.
