I have seen those light strips for sale as "audi R8 Style" lights, and as for the rear, certainly would be different. I have had an offer from someone who would custom build rear LED lights for me!.

There is a huge thread on Prime from a guy developing the LED rear light theme somewhat cheaper than the others out there.

I think the LEDS look great and would be very tempted if the shape and design is right. They are talking $500 on prime for these and you provide your existing lamps.

If the price is right it might be worth a punt? There is a big list of takers on Prime.

As I would expect with our cousins from the colonies, some or the designs are a little bit OTT, but I do think that an LED option would enhance the look and bring the car a bit more up to date.

Why would anyone want an NSX with a ferrari rear and an R8.

I know some people don't like my car, but it is based on an NSX model.

Is like when you see a 300ZX with the ( I forgot the name ) ferrariesque rear lights, I know they have Diablo front ones, but still.

NSX should be NSX or at least JDM in my opinion.

That's exactly my point. When you say clear do you mean white? or clear but red?

I know that most cars now have coloured rear lights but are a lot sparklier (for want of a better word) than teh dull red we have.
That is a route I'd like to go down if possible, but I think it would have to be a custom job wich is probably more hasstle tha it's worth.

As usual, the Yanks go OTT again! Why make them more bling & brighter? I would keep them oem or maybe oem 02+ IMHO !! Simple is sometimes more classier too.

I am trying to imagine the NSX with white rear clusters. If anyone out ther has photo shop, maybe can d an Artists impression?

I just don't think the white would look good, but definately maybe with brighter red.
