Gents what's the best way to get 450HP (close to) with the NSX,

1. Turbo or Supercharging ?

2. Who makes the best supercharger ?

3. Who would you recommend to do the work?

4. How Much ?

5. Any Idea how much a sequential Box is worth and which make would fit the NSX ?

Cheers

FI is the only way to get those numbers.

1. Turbo or Supercharging ?

Turbo

2. Who makes the best supercharger ?

Comptech is the only readily available

3. Who would you recommend to do the work?

Anyone can do the work, the tuning is another matter. TDI have good reputation.

4. How Much ?

Don't expect much change from £ 12K

Only one I know of is here:

There might be others.

Hi Mark,

Comtech SC is the popular choice for our Prime colleagues so if you haven't posted I would suggest it would be of benefit to you.

Once you've done some homework there are a few here that can offer some words of wisdom re install etc.

I would however think about other areas BEFORE you wind the hp up to such an extent. IMHO, tyres / brakes / chassis tweaks need to be on the money.

Happy power hunting!

And you'll need a seq box that can take 450hp. Which you won't find.

Mark have you considered a 997/996 TT with a Trip box?

With an X50 package!

Depends if you have a 3.0 or 3.2 I think.

Easiest you can have is the plug and play Comptech SC, which on 3.2L produces with low boost about 400-410 Hp, in high boost setup probably 430-440, no engine work needed.
Shouldn't take more than 15-20H to install.
You will however also need another manifold and exhaust to get these numbers and a stronger clutch to handle the power.
Turbo can deliver more Hp, but is more difficult/will take longer to install and IMHO puts more stress on the engine.
I have chosen for the CTSC old style whipple and am very happy with the dynoed 366 RWHP/approx. 415 engine HP that it produces.

Dont like the the 996 or 997 but do like the 965 Turbo S - only 81 made shares same body as 964 RS c/W carbon/kevlar Doors, Bonnet and Boot Whale Tail. And has the fantastic Recaro's like in a Type S.

But starting money for a good one is £90,000 and only 4 in this country
