Sudesh, a Diablo! Can you tell more? :)

Yeah Sure. Back then I ended up buying a 1995 Diablo VT, It was succero blue with showcorn hide and 3,000miles. I really enjoyed ownership of the car and it was stunning in everyway to look at, infact in ways reminds me of the NSX as it had short nose, long rear and widened as it stretched from the front to back, also interior was quite similar with the long flowing dash and low slung seating, although the drivers side of the car was offset making the seat face more inwards rather than straight on. Although I enjoyed the car, it wasnt the easiest of things to drive, clutch was very very heavy and dog leg box took a while to get used to including the gate shift as it's just not as direct as normal manual shift, rear judgement was more or less out the door and it was so wide at the rear that driving it on any type of road made it difficult as you were basically sitting from the verge to the white line so huge attention was needed, even when the car was parked it always looked like it was sitting out due to the size. The engine was simply amazing and I dont think there is any better sounding engine that the 5.7-V12 for under the 200k mark. My car pre-dated Audi's involvement so build quality wasnt the best and there was noting at all fancy on the interior about anything. [but I like that anyway]
For me thought, that Diablo was all about the WOW factor, it is in a way; a drivers car but not in the same league as an NSX, 355 or 360 and I guess that was down to the sheer bulk, but then again I dont think any of those cars are in the same league so hard to compare it. I still prefer the Diablo to the Murcielago and in a few years I would like to be an owner of a SE30 model as it was the anniversary car and even more stunning than the VT.

Wow Sudesh, please do you have any pics for us? :)

:(

Yeah I have a few but unfortunately at the time of ownership I wasnt up to scratch with digital cameras and computers so most pics are on normal camera pics. But here are some, I'm acually just noticing the NSX pic in the background of my garage wall! lol

Thanks alot for sharing Sudesh, what an iconic car and love its shape too. Great interior and seats, plus what an amazing V12 engine! The blue colour seems to have a hint of purple? :)

Don't want to talk too much about other super cars, I've always been a Lambo man over a Fezza!

Yeah the color was quite strange, looked either blue or a midnight purple depending on the light during the day and looked almost black at night. The interior was snowcorn and was nice but very easily marked and not a color you would want to live with over time.

Great looking car in great shape, pity we can't just keep them all tucked away somewhere. On the same Lambo topic spot the NSX at the 2008 West Palm Beach Lambo Run:some great machinery on display :D
