I get a grinding noise in all gears with the gear engaged (foot off the clutch) when coming off the throttle. It happens in all gears, louder in 2nd and 3rd it seems.
The clutch seems to be fine, all gears engage correctly and I cannot get the clutch to slip. Car drives fine under hard acceleration, it's only on a trailing throttle that the noise occurs. When it occurs the gearstick moves a little as if it will pop out of gear (at least in 2nd anyway.) and on re-applying the throttle moves back to the correct position. Straight line, not turning.
