Trident in Weybridge.

I personally wouldnt take a Civic there, let alone an NSX.

This question has come up a lot. I think you're better off trying to find a Honda garage with a good reputation rather than getting hung up on whether it's NSX approved or not.

Cheers,

James.

I can't advise on plans, but both Norton Way and Chiswick are owned by the same company so have similar rates. Depending on where you are, Norton Way at Letchworth are quicker to get to. I popped down to Trident once and they seemed OK but have not had any work done there.

I agree 100%.

I developed a fantasic relationship with the service maanger at Geo Collins Honda at Herstmoceaux during 5 years of S2000 ownership - he was always helpful, honest and always willing to go that 'extra mile' for an enthusiast with a special car. When I bought the NSX, I asked if they were able to look after it for me, he said 'yes, we look after 2 or 3 other cars' and, based on my S2000 experiences, that was good enough for me.

Please Can You Explain Your Experience at Chiswick Honda ? eg why you wouldn't take even a civic there ?

Again Does anyone know what the going or reasonable hourly rate is from the stealers / dealers

I need to negioate as they seem intent on bankrupting me with their OTT charges.

With excuses like "We wern't charging enough so we raised our rate to be in line with our neibouring dealers"

"Our Staff are Honda Trained" would you let "X" work on your car"

"Well If you bought a Porsche it would be £150/hr" Honda not Porsche

HELP PLEASE

Talk to Brian at Norton Way. He has been associated with NSX since its launch and his mechanic is very thourough. Mention NSXCB and you shold get afew ££ saving as many of us do. Plus you'll get free courtesy car.

HTH, Paul

Absolutely.

There's only been 1 "NSX dealer" in Scotland all along, but I and others based around Edinburgh have built up a good relationship with our local dealer, who have long-term staff, well-experienced with the NSX. A supercar specialist might also be a good bet - I'm not at all sure a FSH has to be with Honda - certainly wouldn't put me off buying a car...

Go with the flow of recommendations from the guys down your neck of the woods - looks like prices down there quite different to what I get anyway!

I agree.

There always seems to be one NSX that I usually recognise there, whenever mine are being done!

I won't go back to Chiswick Honda. They are too big a dealer to give you good service. They have lots of reasonably well off clients that are queing up to hand over lots of cash, so they aren't willing to give you much time even if you own an NSX.

I insisted that I had my accident repair done by Chiswick and they were terrible.
Nuff said. Thinking of trying 'Plans' for cambelt change etc.

Answer from Honda

I thought Chiswick were approved?

Trident Weybridge is just round the corner from me but someone on here said they weren't that good, and I've never seen and NSX there

Has anyone ever used what was Marshall Honda in Reading, now Cloverleaf? I bought (and had serviced) 2x S2000s there, and was always happy with their servicing too. They have a big sticker in their window with the NSX logo on it, as they were an NSX supplying dealer... but I wonder if their NSX trained mechanic(s) have moved on and that's why Honda haven't got them in the "approved" list?

cheers
Ewan
