I can't make up my mind which is worse
1) Socks and Jesus sandals
2) Those wheels

I'm OK with paint but it was a £4k extra on the mini so I wonder how much he paid?

Shame, i think that flip paint went out of fashion as quickly as it came. Just looks dated now IMO.

I resprayed my first NSX in a flip paint although it didn't change colour to that extent.
This car was the inspiration for mine.

IIRC the first main stream car to start the trend way back was a limited edition Nissan Primera.
Sad that I even remember it.

I thought this paint was reserved for the F&F Supra boys ;)

The first pic could only happen in the good ole USA! Must be an auto with those sandals :D

Jaytip, any pics of your first NSX?

Y Y Y would Nissan offer such an expensive paint job on a pretty much standard car! I see one near where I work in Manchester centre regulary and think who would drive a car like that! I could understand if its a TVR!

I guess i'm even sader knowing that it was the Primera GTSE which was available in this colour.

At the same time there was also a Micra that changed between Purple and Gold :)

I actually think it looks good on the cars that came like that from the factory. I also think it would be a showcar only paint.

Here ya go.I've tried to show photos showing the different colours that the car could be seen in.I have to say, even though my later NSX's have been newer more expensive cars, neither has given the same pride of ownership that my first gave me.Probably because of all the modifications i did to it i guess.
P.S please excuse the mess in the background on some of the shots, these were taken a few years ago while refurbing the house and garden.
