New O2 sensor showed up nice and quick frmo www.sparkplugs.com : check
New O2 sensor fitted: tommorrow
New track rod ends: back order, no lead time! Ouch!

So I have an untaxable car due to no MOT but can't tax it without an MOT. Looks like its gonna be SORN for a month :(

Am I right in thinking there was an NSX being broken a while back? Is it worth transferring the rod-ends to get the car back on road until I can get new ones fitted?

Amo broken one up a while ago, not sure what he has left though. Just check Amo's 91 silver in the for sale section! HTH

Back in 2005 when my local Partco in Chelmsford supplied my O2 sensor, I asked for a listing of the other NSX parts they supplied. From a distributor called Automotive Distributors Ltd they listed a "Stabiliser Link", [who knows what it actually is], other than it was accompanied with a sketch of a track rod end, RH Front ref ADH28523 & LH front ref ADH28522.
Might be worth a gentle enquiry.

I actually ordered the track rod ends from Honda on Monday morning, expecting them not to turn up for weeks. They turned up today!

Bit annoying as I SORN'd the car on the basis of not having the parts > therefore no MOT = no Tax. Oh well, I'll save a whole months road tax!

When you order Honda parts from Honda, turnaround is quick, takes only 24 to 48 hours max as come from its European central distribution hub in Germany I think!

Give JR a ring at Ray Laks Acura in New York, in the states. 1-888-RAY-LAKS. First; with the pound at 2.04 to 1 and their discount it'll be alot cheaper. Second; he'll probibly have it in stock, if not he'll get it quick. Third; shipping won't be a problem and VAT will be less becaaus the part price will be less. Should be on the road alot faster.

Cheers
