Not had to replace mine yet, but in preparation, a few questions....

I have an NA1; so a twin plate clutch.

When it comes to replace it I'm looking at $1200 for the kit + TOB.

I understand that you can fit the NA2 single plate clutch to an NA1. So will be about $600 for the kit + TOB.....therefore attractive cost wise.

Apart from the NA2 clutch being heavier that the NA1, what disadvantages are there? Are there any lighter weight non OEM NA2 clutch kits out there?

Only in complete form. You will need a NA2 flywheel for a NA2 clutch. Those flys are stupid heavy, and cost a fortune. The twin plate NA1 clutch is best.

The NA1 clutch kit includes a new fly, the NA2 one doesn't.

Cheers for the info...

How does the weight of the OEM NSX-R flywheel compare to the Jun ones, anyone know?
