NSX Fact or not ?

Hi Guys

I see this webpage which got me thinking if you guys know any different?

I read that the original prototype NSX had a rev limit of only 7500 rpm and that it only had 250 bhp?

I was under the impression that the auto NSX had a bit more torque and had this lower red line.

Tis true if the original prototype refers to the car fitted with an engine without VTEC.

The engine was developed from the Legend unit, and the VTEC was added later in the development stages.

Yes but what about the V8s and Twin turbos?

So much more they could have given it, but then again it was the late 80s, and look how well it has aged.
