The seem pretty cheap including EBC pads

The words EBC and quality should never be used in the same sentence.

And if anyone says 'I use EBC pads on the track and I find them great', you know they don't go fast enough.

Kevin, below is blurb taken from the EBC website.

“Yellowstuff” is the name for EBC’s latest full race formulation which is currently in race use in Europe and was the choice of 1999/2000/2001 series winners Nick Reynolds and Martin Bell in the BMW Class, Westfield and S2000 Championships in 2002.

I use EBC Greenstuff on my old Peugeot and find them to be very good, admittedly she is 15 years old and probably only pushes out just over 100hp these days.

Not poor, but not good enough for an NSX when for a few quids one coulod get OEM or Project Mu pads and Dixel rotors.

Hello fellow NSX-owner called Martin!

I once tried EBC pads on my NSX (road use only), and the results were shocking. The friction material was starting to come away from the pad base - so I replaced the pads as soon as I noticed.

Would I buy EBC again for my NSX? err...NO!

I just fitted 3 months ago plain front AP Dixcels from Bazza (Barry) here who imported them from Japan, they are very excellant, but I still have OEM Honda pads and in that combo, they are good enough for road use. They were also excellant value too. If you need more braking power go for slotted or if tracking, heat treated plain or the most optimum heat treated slotted ones. HTH

I have heard EBC have improved their compounds but i had Greenstuff pads on my old car and got rid of them after a couple of weeks. They were scarily bad!

Used EBC Greenstuff on my old MX5, on the recommendation of several forum members. They were pants. (The pads, not the forum members.)

i think on very small hatchs and light cars are ok. my 106s back in the day were great on them

Just got the Green stuff put on my Mk1 MR2....seems quite good as it locks the front wheels easy enough....now I need some new front tyres!! :(
