Can source you new items if that helps?

Alternatively you can pick up Legend calipers for around £160 from a breakers yard?

Id be interested to know how much they cost new!!

I prefer the NSX calipers to the Legend ones, purely cuz im a name whore :D!! hehe!!

I know NSX calipers are rare, but if any ones knows any one selling 2nd hand ones for a good price, i.e. less than £300 !!

Cheers :)!!

Drop an email or pm to Dirk as he may have a 2nd hand set and is a really decent bloke to deal with. Will ship from Germany.

I might have some lying about somewhere. From the 3.2..not sure how much difference that makes?

Can't find out till next Wednesday though.

The 3.2 uses 300mm discs, so if Chris_EK9 already has some 282 carriers then they would be able to be used. Alternatively will 300mm discs fit under the Civic wheels ??

Im not sure about the 3.2 discs, im running 16s on my civic, i think to run 300mm discs a minimum of 17" is required!! Though the only 300mm discs i know of are the Tenzo-R big brakes, which i dont want anyway as they wont fit under my wheels!! I dont know if i can fit the 3.2 calipers onto 282mm discs, i wanted the NSX calipers that go onto 282mm NSX calipers, cuz the NSX 282mm discs are the same measurements as MG ZS 180 front discs (also the same as the EK9/DC2 front discs i believe), bar being 5 stud, while the MG is 4 stud, and will fit perfectly on to civic hubs :D!!
Put simply the NSX calipers for 282mm discs bolt straight onto the discs, but im not sure about the 3.2 calipers!!

Is there any acctual difference in the performance/shape of the calipers for the 3.2? or is it just the discs are bigger for better braking torque!!

Cheers B)

The 3.2 front disc are actually 303mm, not 300! Sorry Si, but just want to give the exact correct measurements! Simply the 3.2s are larger diameter than 3.0s, which are on 282mm. HTH :)

Well if this is true, then im afriad the 3.2 NSX calipers are gonna be no good to me :(!! Sorry, just the 3.0 calipers that fit to 282mm discs :)!!

I should have said that at the beginning but i didnt know about the difference :(!!

Cheers

I thought they were 300 (rears are 303), anyway I was being lazy and quoted the racing brake website :)

Position: FRONT
Size: 300x28mm (11.8" x 1.1")

Position: REAR
Size: 303x23mm (11.9" x 0.9")

http://www.racingbrake.com/ACURA_NSX_s/106.htm

However the details for the 2 piece quote the fronts as 298x28mm

DOH !! Sorry Simon, the fronts for 3.2 are actually 298x28 and rears 303x23!! I need to get my eyes tested as its the fronts this thread refers to and feel more stupid as I've just changed them all! :embarassed::doh:

:quote: Set of rear calipers from an Acura NSX. These are used in good mechanical condition. As you can see from the pictures, pistons are not leaking. :quote:
