Here's some pics of my number plate mounting which I have been asked about on several occasion. It came with the car so don't know where the parts came from.

SS, thats approx 16 x 3 inches. Does anyone know if you have to buy these smaller number plates from a specialist, rather than Halfords? Those letters are the legal standard size? I noted that the bracket thats part of the bumper, where the L shape brackets bolts onto, is that standard? If it is, this is where the bulky oem plastic trim bolts onto and would be a straight swap. I wander if the kit is from the States?

Looks like the 'kit' came from B&Q.

Really, anyone can make their own, it's just some bent aluminium.

.....If anyone really can't do it themselves, there'll be some KevSpeed ones available for £20.:)

'Show' plates are available from

http://www.fancyplates.com/

http://www.gtgrafix.com/

Make sure you read the T's&C's as they specify if you need to order plates with a space or not.

IE P27 OLU or just P27OLU we came foul of this when we ordered some legal plates for the little CRX and promptly failed the MOT.
