Lovely, but did you realise there is a bench in the first shot - it is quite camouflaged so you might not I suppose...:D

When will these be available from Catchincolour? ;)

I know its been said, but thats one gorgeous looking NSX! That red looks mega, did you polish it or was this done professionally. I noted the bench shot was low down, were in lying on the grass! I noted you had Eagles F1, how do you rate them? Finally, sorry to say this, you're gonna miss her even though you hardly used her much! :)

I polished it myself with a Zymol deco starter kit, which had Carbon wax in it. Awesome stuff. Car kept its shine for months.

Yes I was virtually lying in the grass :) I thought it might make the shot a bit more interesting - a bugs perspective.

Eagle F1s were fine, the rears seemed to get a bit hot though. TQO runs them too and has had no issues and does far more miles than I did.

DIY with Zymol, well you sure know how to polish! Any ideas as to the price of this said kit? :)

As for Eagles F1s, think TQO or TSO (I prefer the 2nd!) has broken the world record for doing over 30,000 on them! So they get hot, maybe they're a softer compound than the OEM? I know they are great in the rain, quiet & last ages, but they seem to not as stiff as Bridgestones? sorry for mentioning But then again its vitually impossible to go OEM! (sorry for talking tyres again here!) I've had them on a FWD Prelude 2.3, but with nearly twice as many ponies RWD, then I suppose heat & wear is more severe!

I gave up trying to find the OEM yokos that my car had on when I picked it up. I'd got to the stage of having to go to the distributor in Milton Keynes to pick them up, with a good month lead time on them... it was crazy. But I still think they gave the car the nicest balance.

Zymol - look for the deco starter kit here:

The guy that runs the site is really helpful and knows his stuff. I went for the Carbon wax which suits red colour well (it darkens it slightly, which I prefer).

Thanks for that Damien, this is the kit you use?

Just a couple of more Qs, how many treatments can you get and generally how long is the process from start to finish? Thanks :)

That's the fella

The wax seems to last forever, no idea on that. The pre-wax cleaner probably lasts 5 or 6 treatments, but you don't need to use that everytime.

Process takes a good 2 or 3 hours really, its not much worse than polishing the car with anything else.
