View Full Version : N/S/R RE010 and Passenger Door Grab Handle

Passenger side rear RE010 (245\45\17) needed due to uneven wear - inner edge worn to near minimum... outer edge nearly new!

Also need passenger side interior door handle grab and surround (it's one piece). This is not the door handle for opening the door but the thick handle you grab to pull the door shut. Mine works fine but it has a little bit of damage and it'd be nice to fit one that's perfect.

Thanks

~Phil.

I have a part worn RE010 somewhere, will see if it is N/S or O/S.

I know is less than ideal but if you wanted it I have a Pirelli in that size with lots of thread that you can have FOC until you find the adequate replacement.

Thanks for the offer AR! It's actually fine for the time being as the tyre is still legal but it's a shame as the OSR is nearly new (as is 80% of the width of the NSR) and the fronts are RE010's too so I'd rather not mix and match. Oh, I also have a spare set of SO3s for the rear but ideally I'd rather keep to a single type\model front and rear.

I wonder if the RE010's are still readily available?

In a word, no.

None of the 16/17 OEM combo tyres are readily available, infact you will be doing well if you find any. At last check RE010's were impossible to get hold of, there was only 1 of the Yoko's and the Dunlops too were all gone.

Eithe Eagle F1's or RE040/050 combination is the way forward.

I have gone for the Bridgestones and they are very honest to the RE010's.

Toyo, Falken etc are available also but not as popular.

I know that there are a lot of tyre types that are directional BUT I didn't know that are some that are side specific!!! Well you learn something new everyday!.

Yup, having both directional tyres and different sized wheels front to back means you end up having a different tyre on each corner!!!

Oh, thanks for looking Simon!

Mate let me know if you want that tyre and is yours. Other than that it will go on egay just to get rid off it as I need the space.

Ah yeah I never thought about in that respect, I was thinking that there was an actual left side/right side pattern. So this only affects us with different size front /rear as opposed to those with 17s all round.

Have just checked the tyre, it's an OSR with about 5mm of tread across the piste, so no good to you.

Anyone else wants it then let me know.

I also have a variety of other tyres as well, will look to see what they are.

No longer need the grab handle - turns out mines not broken but the leather panel behind wasn't located properly which made the base look like it had a piece missing!! Oops! :embarassed:

As for the tyre - I'm going to take up AR on his offer of the Pirelli... but should a spare RE010 come availbable it'd be much appreciated!!!
