Hi Rob,

NIce to see your NSX looking clean and shiney, I'm so used to seeing it parked up at Plans needing some tlc ;)

I guess it may be the photo's, but I'm pretty sure that the CF parts have lightened in color ... they seem less black in appearance. Is this the case?

How do feel the aero parts have changed the car and do you have other mods to make?

regards, Paul

Ha, yeah they're pretty reluctant to clean the thing!

In the flesh if you walked past the car you wouldn't notice the change in colour from the carbon (especially as the car is actually a dark grey opposed to straight black). Ultimately they are a lighter colour, and having a kevlar mix means they actually have a green tinge close up.

As for function, the front splitter was good for stability under braking...i can't really say i felt any difference made from the bonnet or rear spoiler!

There are few bits to do yet, yes. To complete the aero package the car will get a completely flat floor and the Taitec JGTC diffuser. This means a centre exit exhaust will be needed too.

The inner wishbones still have bushes because we can't find a non compliance replacement so need to do find a solution to this... the steering rack needs rebuilding so we're going for a manual rack instead (investigating a shorter one) and finally slicks on mag wheels.

Very nice with gold wheels with black, how about going a bit further with a full jps livery:)

The fronts are a modest 215, rears are 265... so not that big. In comparison GT3 RSs run 235 fronts and 305 rears.

Good suggestion with the livery! We were actually thinking about copying the F1 car, got a quote for about £3k for a vinyl wrap! Alright until you crash it and need another i guess!

You don't need a centre exit exhaust for the rear diffuser. You need a diffuser for the centre exit exhaust.

What spring rates are on the Nitrons?

If you go for a vinyl wrap and bend something then you should only have to replace a small piece of it ??

If you do go via that route then I would be interested in getting something made up for mine, it should be cheaper after a pattern has been made up.

I'm afraid on i don't know the spring rates off hand. The damper rates are also different to what Nitron specify from off the shelf.

The centre exit is the only one that doesn't disrupt airflow AFAIK.
