:( :( :(

so may parts, not enough money.

So with the decats i could easily whip them back in come MOT time. sounds good. could get headers and decats to release power (not that i need it) and change the tips on my OEM top save cash till i get a system..hmmm

Many thanks Baz.

Or you could get headers and an exhaust that already has the decats ( hint, hint ) and still work out about the same as changing your tips.

Hi Martin,

The manifold listed on http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp is item no:550-55504.
I have asked my supplier to get back to me with information on the Inconel manifolds as these are not listed on the site.

Cheers

Not even £30 off for a group buy? :-)

As you might have guessed I'll most likely be going down the Taitec route, but I need to speak to my NSX technician first, but he's on hols at the moment.

Cheers

Is your NSX technician funding your headers? I've never even heard of those fancy ones, if he recommended them to you he must have expensive tastes! What are they ... made of platinum!?

Martin
03-08-2007, 09:57 PM
No he did not recommend them to me.

Errr, no, inconell is a type of metal, lightweight an what the F1 cars use...I think there was a thread on this a while ago.

Lighter and an extra 23bhp at the crank shaft.......Still can't see how it justifies 8K. Must be aiming for those with more dosh and nowhere to spend.

Not for me! rather spend 8K on a track practice car.

Me neither.. :)
£8k will get you a decent 96 Spec Integra Type R and a few grand for brakes, suspension, seats, harnesses and chassis parts..

That is where my £8k would go :)

Why are headers so expensive?, handmade and stainless steel but even a budget set is about £1500, what gives:dunno:
