Sorry, not sure. Mainly as the order was placed a good 4 months ago!

I actually think Plans Motorsport bought it with the other stuff, then added it to their bill.

I would contact John who seems to have become the appointed NSX specialist there and he should be able to help you: 01483 280036

Very shiny & lovely body work! I assume you've removed the air con unit? What zorst system you have & tyre brand/sizes? The whole car looks great, the bonnet, rear spoiler, Recaros & Alloys really suit the car colour!

Perhaps he was being nice, 'cautious' is probably the best word... ;) Did the guy have a red ITR? Met him at a garage, seemed like a friendly bloke.

Had great fun though, despite the sweltering 35 degree weather. Have noticed the gearbox oil gets rather hot now.

The car has no air con, whilst the exhaust is by Zorstec. That will be replaced at some point when we get a rear diffuser sorted out for the car.

Thanks for the kind words.

Rob,

Was about to put a thread on asking about people's experiences with Zorstec...looks like you're trying to replace yours. Any problems? Do you know how they compare price / quality wise with the more established ones (SOS etc)? Anyone else here got one?

Just curious. I was keen to try a UK-supplied one if poss.

I wouldn't dispute the build quality of the exhaust, it's fine. Having four pipes required a fair amount of skill to make it. Noise wise it's good that it is below track day noise limits but it could be a bit higher pitched. As soon as it was fitted we noticed the improvement in throttle response thanks to the lowered back pressure too, but never tested in on a rolling road.

The only real reason i'll be selling is it simply won't fit with the diffuser.

Rob - is your car a 3.0? (Have you changed the headers?)

I would be interested in said pipes if you sell, assuming they fit with otherwise std. car.

I'm afraid it is a 3.2!

I've never looked at the system in detail, i hear 3.0/3.2 exhausts are incompatible without another part. This is always related to manifolds though whereas most aftermarket exhaust are normally cat back.

Rob is the bonnet a taitec or SOS ? How is the fitting? Any problems with the nozzles?

Cheers,

Ary

I believe it is the SoS one (although i don't think they make it themselves). I think it could be adjusted to fit better, but even so the gap around the headlights are clearly bigger than OEM, especially on one side. You have to be quite anal to notice though, and with the Taitec being over twice the price i guess you have to make your own choice if you believe it's worth it :)
