hello, i have a 1990 rover 827 which has the honda c27A engine in her, i am looking for more power, so far i have fitted a 2.5" exhaust removed the oe air box and fitted a better filter. i am in progress of making a set of exhaust manifolds and fitting a wet shot of nitrous.

any way more power, i am after a fuel reg as my car is now running slightly lean and from what research i have done the na1 uses a similar fueling setup but with higher fuel pressure, does any one have a spare set-up or one i could look at in my area (didcot oxfordshire)

jago.

Mate you'll be better of searching on a Legend forum as they came with the C27 engines.

hello, they use the same engine and the same fueling set-up, i'm after raising the fuel pressure to compensate for the exhaust and filter with out braking the bank...

Sorry I think the only people local to you have NA2's! Lankstarr is local, some of the time, as am I!

what are the differances between the engines on the na 1 and 2? sorry for the silly questions but i have not ever actually seen an nsx in the flesh.

but this is my 827 as she is at the moment.

i am currently making my own manifolds for her as no one would entertain the idea of making them for less than £700.

0.2litre as far as I know in my limited capacity. ;)

fair enough, so would any one let me see their pride and joy, so i can get an idea of what i can do to get more power?

Is not about manifolds mate. Is about heads, valves, cams, compression, etc, etc. As far as I am awaree the only thing shared was the block casting mold.

i'm aware the engine is not the same, however there are lot of shared parts, like the intake manifold for instance, oh and the exhaust manifold side of things, the ones fitted to the rover are very very bad and kill lots of the engines potential.
