Being an 'occasional' driver of my X, it was an unusual decision to go for a blast this evening in the absoutely torrential rain. However, such was the performance and grip of my tyres in the really appalling conditions that I thought it worth a mention.
I was disparaging of my Avon ZZ3 rear's when I first got them. But now, 3,500 miles later they perform really well in the wet and dry. Useful to know if, like me, you are limited in tyre choice due to early 15" / 16" wheel setups.
Oh, and I suppose the BF Goodrich GForce Profilers at the front must have been performing well too.
