Looking for some decent DOT4 and am not sure whether to just go for some Halfords stuff!!!

Anyone have any advice?

Castrol Super Dot 4 for me. Never managed to boil it at a track.

Make sure it says 'Super Dot 4', the normal and this one, come in the same style bottle.

You sure? Boiled fluid will make your pedal go to the floor with zero braking. The brake pedal will feel like pushing down on the accelerator. Pad fade yes, and I have had that every time too (on the old brakes), but not fluid boiling.

An old car of mine (MR2), did boil fluid, it's obvious when it happens, and you sure don't want it to happen often.

I now use ATE Blue on all my cars, and never get fade It has an excellent "wet" performance meaning it less badly affected with time. Dot 5.1, which is suitable for Dot 4 systms, The silicone stuff is Dot 5 and cannot be put in Dot 4 systems.
