What pressures are folk running on 17inch wheeled NSX's with 215/40/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears

I have reduced mine down to 30psi as I was getting wheelspin in third on the motorway over christmas period. Is this too low?

I would no run them on less than 32 PSI. I run myne 32 fron and 36 rear. I find it it gives me the best result.

Running very well on manufacturer pressure for the 98 model year.

thanks for the reply AR

But does your Type R manual recommend different pressures as your car is that much lighter?

33 front, 40 rear, I'm running OEM 02 alloys with std size tyres.

Senninha is the character created by Senna to deliver good messages to the chidren of Brazil.

Not really same as the regular NSX 33 front and 40 rear.

I found those way too high for my liking.

I am sure I could find this by searching but what are the differences between OEM 02 alloys and stock 98/99's?

The ride in mine on standard wheels (33/40) is a bit harsh. I am going to drop the rears to 38 and see what difference it makes.

02's are different design, 17" all round, wider rears. Maybe a little harsh when cold but not a problem once fully warmed up.

I have 16/17" : go with manufacturer rec. pressures 33F/40R - like the "delicate" feel (actually with no PAS anything lower at front just way to heavy...)

I have no PAS and no TCS, and 215 section tyres at 32 PSI and is fine.
