I think the UK price is about £260, the Americans are always grabbing them if they come up second hand though so prices might not be that much cheaper.

Do not forget to make sure it matches the colour of your current set up.

As far as I know pre 2001 UK is lighter than JDM but not as bright US ones. The 2002 ones I believe are all the same.

£400 + VAT I was told recently...I know from exchanging emails with a guy at Bridgewater Acura that the USA 2000+ light is brighter I think!

I've given up the hunt for now for one...

Don't forget, right now, the dollar to the pound, SUX. If you can find any, the price should be excelent.

Yes but don't things go up as a result? If the dealer has to import the parts and stuff? Is a shame your rugs do not fit our cars as I would love a new set without Honda UK prices.

No, not until the powers at be decide to do an across the board price increase. That's why it's such a good time to buy while the pound is as strong as it is, 1.96 to 1, as of friday. Also, there are several dealers such as Ray Laks Acura, in New York, (ask for JR) that give 25% off just because you own an NSX, (mention NSXPrime just to make sure, they also ship, no I don't work there, I just believe they really care about us NSX owners) and the parts are so expensive from J A PAN.

I think Ian (Y1) paid about £50 for his late shape front spoiler when he got it from the states.

Worth having a spare at this price!

I quite fancy the shine auto project one off ebay, but the shipping is around $ 200 from SOS and Dali does not have it in his catalog.

If you are talking front spoiler then this is the only one I can see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/90-97-ACURA-NSX-JDM-URETHANE-FRONT-BUMPER-LIP-SPOILER_W0QQitemZ250068259004QQihZ015QQcategoryZ43 117QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

looks nice and have been thinking it may be a goer for the future, but certainly not $200 shipping 0 more like £30!

I wished mate. I called SOS and it was out of order and was quoted $ 100 to $ 200 shipping!

Talking of parts from eBay, has anyone any experience with the Stainless Headers which go for $650 (+£150 s&h). Can't remember the make and I can't look at eBay at work at the mo, but search and you'll see them.

They seem too good to be true and quite often thing like these are, but thought I'd ask...

A few people on Prime have had good results or at least they say it works.

The shipping will be hefty and so will be the install, even if you do it yourself it will be expensive in hours.

If I was you I would look at the new DC sports/SOS ones.

What do you guys reckon on $350 for a second hand 3rd brake light? Assuming it has the loom.
I have seen them listed for $500 and $250 sometimes with or without spoiler or loom...

Is it worth it aesthetically (sp) and value wise?

I have to add that I don't know about the cost being worth it (maybe that's coz I'm a tight arsed Scotsman) BUT I have to say that it does look so much better with this brake light. I have seen a red NSX buzzing around and he has the high level light and I'm jealous coz it does lok better when braking.

Jim

P.S I've still not got round to contacting that breakers to see if he has any, I'll post here once I know.

Not the reason why I want one I just think that it looks better with rather than without it.

It is!

The plastic insert on the early cars does not even match the tail lights!

Mind you the spoiler brake light makes the non LED b rake lights look old.

Yup I agree entirely, the red bit on my spoiler looks faded and doesn't match the lights.
I no longer just want one..............................
I need one!!!
